Finishing a book in Squabble is its own small event — a celebration screen, a stamp on your record, and sometimes a new Title. Here's what triggers it and how to mark a book done yourself. Mobile app
The completion celebration
Squabble automatically celebrates a finished book once you're about 95% of the way through — or via a notification if you've stepped away from the app right as you cross that line.
- On a first completion, the celebration screen shows a trophy.
- On a reread, it shows a tier-colored circular stamp with your run number, and a headline like "Rare Read Achieved" along with "Your third run of this book."
- A run ledger strip of tier-colored dots gives you a quick look at every prior run of that book.
- Reaching a legendary-tier run or higher adds an animated glow to the whole screen.
Tap the button at the bottom to lock in the completion — it reads Mark Quest Complete the first time through, or Claim Rare Status (naming whichever tier you just reached) on a reread. Finishing a book also posts a milestone to your guild, so your Adventurers see it too.
Marking a book complete manually
If you finished a book without Squabble catching it automatically — say, you listened to the last stretch outside the app — open the book's details and tap Mark as Complete. This works the same whether it's a shared guild Quest or a personal Solo Quest book.
Reread tier stamps
Every time you finish a book again through New Read+, the stamp on your celebration screen moves up the loot-tier ladder — Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and beyond. Hitting certain run counts also unlocks a matching reread Title, like Second Scroll on your second run or The Archivist once you've held rereads across 3 different books.
Quest wins
If you're the first Adventurer in your guild to finish a shared Quest, you're crowned with a First to Finish badge, visible on the quest's detail view once the book wraps up.
